Bond Trustee

- Monitoring issuer compliance with bond convenants regarding insurance, audits, budgets and operating statements
- Disbursement of bond proceeds during construction periods
- Investment of bond proceeds as directed by the issuer
- Collection of periodic debt service payments
Successor Trustee
We provide Successor Trustee services for existing Bond Issues, both pre and post default. The reasons for replacing a current Trustee vary widely but as Successor Trustee, we strive to work with the bondholders and Issuers to find the best solutions for each situation, while working diligently to minimize expenses.
Paying Agent and Registrar
When there is no Bond Trustee for an issue, such as for a school district, we can act as paying agent and registrar with carefully defined duties, including:
- Making timely periodic payments of principal and interest to bondholders
- Maintaining accurate ownership records
- Filing all necessary forms with the tax authorities
- Registering bonds when they are issued
- Transferring bonds to new owners
